Although years have passed and our lives have changed you have not been forgotten .You where a true friend and our memories and times together are still with me today and always.Hitting 80 in a couple days will have a toast for both of us. I was truly sorry to here of Bob's passing.We had so many great times together with family and friends.Tyee Beach "WOW".You were truly loved by so many.God blessed us with a great friend and person never forgotten.

Our sympathy goes out to the Long family. We will miss seeing Bob at Tyee Beach..he was always very kind and helpful.

Our family was blessed to know the Long family all of our lives. Bob became my friend when my sister Cyndie was 6 and I was 8. The summer after his accident changed us kids forever.
We learned that Bob expected us to treat him like nothing happened.
He proved he could do things the rest of us couldn't. Like spin his foot, we were always looking for boults in the sand. We all had names for one another we called him Bob a Long because he bobbed up and down when he walked.

I met Bob and Cheryl at Tyee Beach a few years back through my in law's.Bob was a very traveled person, and one that told great stories around the bulkhead with neighbors or just sitting on his golf cart. I am a better person for knowing him and may you rest in peace Bob.

His generosity and friendliness will be what will make you all smile when you think of the many great memories he has blessed you with.

14 years ago I was reunited with a very special friend, Bob Long, we grew up in Everett and after graduating from EHS in 1965 we lost contact. The last 14 years have been the best, our boating trips, crabbing, the fishing derby's, bonfires, Tuesday night pizza with neighbors, laughing and singing, just enjoying life together with family and friends here on Tyee Beach. I feel very blessed to have spent the last 14 years with Bob and Cheryl. I will miss Bob so very much. I have lost a dear...
