Not sure what to say?

Mona Shores High school with Robin meant many days and nights at the Long household. Building the homecoming floats are some of my best memories. You always felt welcome and knew the Longs just loved having you there. Wonderful parents, extraordinary people.

I loved him like my own father! You see, I had the pleasure to spend an enormous amount of time in the Long household during my high school years with Robin, his youngest daughter. Infact, I practically lived there...and between the two of us we gave Emily and Bob a few headaches from time to time. He always referred to us as "Starkey and Hutch". I wish we could have had the chance to play together. Mr. and Mrs. Long often leave the door to their place open and any time I happened to be nearby, Mr. Long would warmly invite me in. We will always remember having coffee with the Greateest neighbors anyone could have. Thanks, BOB, for the memories we will carry the of our lives. Our lives have been enriched by our friendship.
Emily, we share your GREAT loss.

Hello, May I first say that I'm sorry for your loss, I didn't know Mr. Long, but I was so inspiried by his obituary, his love for all of you seemed to leap from the page as I read, my heart was trully touched. Family is the most important thing in our lives and I could tell just from reading about your husband, your father, your grandfather, that he loved life and his family. It reminded me to cherish each and everyday with my own family. Thank you for sharing the love of your loved one with us.
