Not sure what to say?

My life is richer for knowing and working for your father. He was a true man of vision and that was the beginning of IWCC. My thoughts and prayers are with you and may your wonderful memories bring you comfort.

The Looft family are in my thoughts and prayers. Bob gave so much to IWCC and the community. I am blessed to have known him.

I feel blessed to have gotten to know him a little. What a kind, smart, interesting person he was. He obviously loved his family very much. You are all in my thoughts & prayers.

I asked God to keep you, my friend, safely in His heavenly arms now and throughout eternity. He will!

Don Skow

I always liked and admired him. An interesting charismatic man who was an icon in C.B. More importantly he was so loved by someone I love. He was always there in my familiy's saddest times and we are always linked by the bonds of family and share our sorrows. God wrap you and your sisters in his arms Salli and take peace in knowing he is with your mom, laughing and happy again.

Even though Bob (as he insisted I call him, when I addressed him as Dr. Looft) was 86 years old when I met him and I only had the pleasure of knowing him a very short while, he changed the way I look at the world. Talk about a man who truly made a difference! I will never forget him.

I saw the obituary in the paper and my mind went back to my days at Iowa Western. By the time I arrived there as a student, Dr. Looft had retired, but he was still about the campus. I am so very thankful I received a good education there and even more grateful Dr. Looft cared enough to build a great legacy here in Southwest Iowa that has literally grown in front of us and will continue to serve so many in our area and beyond. My condolensces to his family, friends and colleagues

Dear Amy & Diane, So very sorry for the loss of your Grandfather and Father.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.May the Lord grant you comfort and peace. You had two very special parents and I will remember them fondly.
