Wow....what a pleasure to see this. In 1968, when I was 13, my foot intersected with a lawn mower. Dr. Lorello, whom I remember vividly, dealt with a scared and hurting kid with both tact and directness. My father was enormously impressed. He told me my running career was probably over, but he'd reassemble the mess as best he could. Well, he did a fantastic job! 55 years later, I have a foot far better than I have any right to suspect. Thank you!

WE met Dr. in 1965. We had a baby girl Jane, with severley clubbed feet and hands. He casted her on day four, then we would soak them off and meet him and Esther at the casting room at Clara, on Monday morning at 9. Castings and surgeries went on until she kicked her braces off in 7th grade and said no more. Then in Senior year at Centenary College, Jane severly broke her right leg. We first met Dr Lorello in July 1965. A new family of three. Our daughter Jane had been born on July 9. Elated and broken hearted at the same time, our beautiful baby girl was born with severly clubbed feet. clubbed hands and other results of a footling birth. As I wandered the halls, I came across Dr examining my girl. I had been afraid to do the finger and toe count and was affraid to stand there and watch. I was twenty years old and quite frankly hadn't a clue. So he casted her feet on...

Doc Lorello was a wonderful man,

I had the pleasure of arranging many wonderful trips for Dr. and Mrs. Lorello and their family. He was a wonderful man who will be missed by all who knew him. My deepest condolences to his family.
