his son is my very best childhood friend. i was shocked and sad when i heard of his passing. such a cool and down to earth man.

I miss Bob. I enjoyed his company in the mountains, out on the road on bikes, at Blazer games, and back in town, eating and drinking and talking, sometimes just BS, but other times serious stuff.

Bob was our neighbor in the early 1980's on NE 12. We spent many hours talking to Bob as he remodeled his home. I even ran with him a few times. Over the years we would run into Bob and that was always a nice experience. I am sorry for your loss. Mark Oldani and Sarah Morgan

I am sorry for your loss. I owned and was editor of the Bandon Western World and hired Bob to come work in Bandon. He, of course, did a great job and was also liked throughout the community. He then went on to larger papers, which I'm sure he enjoyed. He was a good and honest man. I am sorry he is lost to the world so young.
