It has been about 40 years since I last saw Bob. I remember Bob as a gentleman and a person who really cared.Bob was a unique individual and had his own take on things.

Bob Low Changed my life. I worked in his campaign when he ran for Mayor of new York and then President of The City Council in 1969. He fought the bosses but his loss was the cities loss.

He Changed my life. he gave me my first job out of law school working for the then New York City Environmental Protection agency and he then introduced me to Senator Henry Scoop Jackson and I worked advance when the Senator ran for President in 1972 and 1976. That opened the door for me to do...

Bob epitomized the expression "gentleman," with an emphasis on the "gentle." He was a dedicated public servant concerned about all his constituents.
I worked in his 1969 campaign first for Mayor, then City Council President --literally my first job out of college. He finished third in a crowded field though he ran without any backing from the party organization, a near-requirement to winning the primary.
