Gone but not forgotten.I was blessed to have such an awesome man of God to lead me. I just cant help thinking about him everyday. Every time I have a situation or test going on in my life, someone says, dont you have someone you could talk to. The answer is yes, I think of my Pastor. I would love to knock on your office door and talk. I always felt that he was the one person that knew me and would give me back exactly what I needed with a warm smile and embrace. Yes, I am still knee-hi to a...

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

REFLECTIONS OF A HALF CENTURY OF SERVICE:
THANK YOU REV. DR. ROBERT E. LOWERY

Can one man make a difference?

Just by the way he lived- by the way he treated others and the compassion that he gave?

Can one man's strength, his courage, his deep integrity inspire the hearts of others?

Yes, one man can make a difference-

Without a doubt, Rev. Dr. Robert E. Lowery did!

With gratitude for the values he taught, the encouragement he gave, the legacy of...

I hold an abundance of respect and admiration in my heart for Pastor Robert E. Lowery and celebrate his glad release. He was indeed a man of God who did not hesitate to spread the "good news" everywhere he went.

On September 27th, he would have celebrated 50 years of ministry at St. Timothy Community Church and throughout Northwest Indiana and I remember him with joy.

There is no doubt that he is surrounded by the light of God and sending to the thousands he touched, "THE...

Rev. Lowery has always been my pastor since I was a little girl. I use to hear him say, "I am sending up timber..." God Bless and I will miss him deeply.

Rev. Lowery was definitely a motivator and a legend to the people of Gary. He was a great teacher at IUN who touched the hearts of everybody that knew him. My prayers go out to him and his family. May his legacy live on as he was one of the greatest teachers that I have met.

Learning together (GWC),sharing a faith (AME), together in Scouting (BSA),considered and accepted as a true Friend( one of two), a Counselor, ..., now a great void. This too shall never be lost, just inactive physically. The deeds done were never in vane, for his life lives on in the life of multitudes.
