I just heard the news while at a memorial service for another co-worker Al Webber. I worked for Bob from 1978 to 1985 at Warner & Swasey in Cleveland and interacted with him until 1991 when W/S was acquired and the Cleveland location closed. I am thankful to have known such a professional and gentleman. After W/S closed, I enjoyed times spent with him at W/S alum events from 1991 until his move to Western Ohio. My condolences to the Lucas family.
