Robert R. Lucente

Words cannot adequately express my sorrow upon (belatedly) hearing of the passing of Robert Lucente. As a neighborhood youth growing up in the area in the 60's & 70's, Bob became both a friend and mentor. Fond memories of carefree summers swimming in the creek, playing ball, or having pizza with Bob and his family reflect the personal specialness of that time, that place, and that Man. Bob, you're in my thoughts and prayers. My sincere (belated) condolences to the family.

I didn't know Mr. Lucent but his brother Charles was my favorite Uncle Charlie. If they were anything alike the world has suffered a great loss. Lucente Family, please accept my condolences with the passing of Robert. Having grown up on the West Side of Bethlehem I knew the Lucente family very well as I was their "paper boy" for a few years, also Mr Romeo Lucente and my Dad played "sand lot" football together. I had not seen Bob lately but I have never forgotten him. Distance does not permit me to attend the funeral but I will remember him in my prayers, May he RIP.
