In the summer of 2024 the state of Virginia will open the new Culpeper Battlefields State Park (Brandy Station and Cedar Mountain battlefields. It will be in part a monument to Bob Luddy.

Bob was also a miniature wargamer, and a long time member of the Potomac Wargamers and the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society. He was passionate about the ancient military era and played in tournaments for ancient and medieval wargames. He was a good and kind man, had a gentle sense of humor, and made many friends easily. He will be missed by all of us in the wargaming community.

Bob was kind man. He spoke to the Greenbelt Golden Age Club about the Civil War and organized a trip to the Graffiti House. His knowledge of that time in history was amazing and so very interesting. He loved sharing his vast knowledge. Bob will be missed by his many friends in Greenbelt.
