Not sure what to say?

This popped up on my email this morning...maybe there is a reason for us to connect, Mary...I would love to hear how you are doing. Reading your dad's obit again, I saw that he lived in Santa Maria for a time...that is where my first son was born. And...I also have a "John" and a "Sarah". Please message me back if you get this if you want to get in touch.

"Mr Lundgren" was larger than life, funny, present, engaged during those years we all spent perched in the kitchen with Mary...he had a cackle and brilliance about him that I remember very fondly. Surely, next to Christ in heaven, the brilliance must be beyond words. He was a man of great resiliance and redemption, with a wake of life lessons, courage, faith and resolve for all to emulate. You are all in our prayers for peace,
Scott and Peggy Paul and family

I am so sad to see Bob go, as he was such a strong link to my dad, his brother Dick, and Grandma Freda and Aunt Peggy, as you could hear a hint of their voices and laughter in his. The best memory I have of Bob is when he came all the way to Alaska for my wedding back in 2006, and brought cousin Mary and her kids as well. That was a very special treat and a great memory!

My exceptional and inspiring grandfather. He has taught me many important things and will be greatly missed.

So sorry for Bob's passing - I always enjoyed our "debates" about current issues and especially his insights from his expertise in financial matters. Sorry I can't make the service as I'm off to Colorado for a game.

My mom forwarded this to me. I also am sorry for your loss. I spent much time at the Lundgren's house playing with Mary when we were young and have good memories of your Dad. I will pray for your family. -Kay (Manning) Coryell

I saw in the paper today about your father passing away. I am sorry for your loss. I went to school with both Mary and John and spent time at the house playing basketball and swimming. Your father was a very nice man and he had a cool car back in the day...that I wanted. Both him and John made me a big Minnesota Vikings fan. I hope everyone is doing well.

My sincere condolences to the family.
Bob was a strong member in the Scandinavian Men's choir and I was lucky to have met him years ago and witnessed the joy of using his beautiful voice. We'll be thinking of him, especially at the upcoming Scan Fair.
Fondly,
