Not sure what to say?

I attended uofw on a boxing scholarship 1958 1959 1960 when Charley mohr died and the sport was removed. Bob kept it alive. Great Human being. He is missed.prayers being said for him.

It was great playing rugby with Bob back in the 70's & will always remember him flying us to an away match in Champaign, IL. A trusted friend throughout the years. Condolences to Sue and family.

I have known Bobby since he came to Madison, through my late father (once captain, then asst. coach of the UW boxing team) and later through The Second Round reunions of UW boxers. My first car was a gift from Bobby. Always liked and admired him.

I was fortunate to play rugby with Bob when I arrived in Madison in 1982. A gentleman, a scholar and a true Legend! The passion he brought to the game and also when talking to you was incredible. RIP Bob and thank you for your service to life. To Sue and family, my sincere condolences. Chris Helm, #7.

I met Bob at few years ago at the Great Dane Pub when he was visiting with some of his rugby pals. Fortunately he returned there from time to time, and I was able to chat with him about his many boxing experiences. I think most of the others had heard his stories before so he was happy to share them with someone who hadn't. When he told me about his time in Korea I was stunned. I told him he'll never have to buy another pint when I'm around. He smiled and seem to appreciate that someone cared...

I always enjoyed being in Bob´s presence and playing rugby with him. My condolences to Sue and his family

My sincere condolences to Bob's family. He always took the time to support rugby, well after his playing years. A true warrior. The community has lost a fantastic person.

I have been knitting with Sue for years and she always had a wonderful things to say about her husband, Robert. I wish all family and friends wonderful memories they can have forever.

A great Rugby player for Madison Rugby Club, a great sportsman, he always had a story to tell and it was a pleasure to know him.
