Visitation will be 10 a.m. with a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 28, at St. James Catholic Church, Liberty, MO. Bobby was born November 8, 1964, to Gilbert and Catherine (Raccuglia), and grew up in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1982. In 1992 he fulfilled his dream of becoming a Union Electrician when he graduated from the I.B.E.W. Local 124 apprenticeship program. He went straight into the field, hanging The Plaza Lights for many years. His last 16 years were spent working as County Electrician for Jackson County, MO. Bobby’s passion was his family. He coached little league baseball, wrestling, and soccer - his favorite. He had an adventurous side like no other. He rode his Harley in all 50 states and last year was able to fulfill a lifelong dream and spend a month in Australia. Bobby had two grandsons, who were his pride and joy, and had the opportunity to take them both on motorcycle trips around the USA. He definitely lived life to the fullest.

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother Catherine Raccuglia Salisbury (Wayne), and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his children, Karasteijn Mitchell (Jeff), Christopher Mitchell, and Robyn Mitchell; his grandsons, Keegan and Kylan Crabtree; his father, Gilbert Mitchell (Ann); his sisters, Cathy Ann Liberto (Frank), Teri Jo Connely (Shawn), Toni Orr (Wayne); his brother, Danny Mitchell; six nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and great-nephews.

You left us again Bob.Another long beautiful vacation, your chair is empty,I can't hear you telling another loud story full of expression at six in the morning. The coffee pot is fuller and I can't smell your eggs on flat bread.Working with you for so many years was a pleasure. You were a rock and your silence is painful.God bless you on your journey I miss you bro.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Bob will be missed very much. He always answered, He always had time for advise or help. I took his time on earth for granted and for that I am sorry. I loved knowing you Bob. See you in Heaven my friend.

So sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. Taught him in first grade. This really makes my heart sad.

My deepest sympathy to each of my childhood friends for your loss of your brother, my continued prayers for you all. May God give you extra strength.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
