Maas, Robert J. 80, of Fergus Falls, died February 13th at his home. Born April 29, 1928, in St. Bonifacius, the son of Louis and Lorraine Maas. Was married to the former Rose Marie Kelzer and lived in St. Bonifacius, Hopkins, and Remer. Survived by Sandy Carpenter, Fergus Falls, Steve Maas, Maple Grove, and Sharon Mulvaney, Elk River. Memorial Mass at 11:30 AM on Tues., Feb. 17 at Our Lady of Victory Church Fergus Falls. Dear Sandy, Steve and Sharie,

My condolences to you and your families during this difficult time. I hadn't seen much of your dad for several years, but he will be missed.

I wish I could have made it to the service, but it's tough from Alabama. It's hard to believe it's been almost three years since dad's service. It's tough,but it does get easier.

You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

I have a couple of memories of Uncle Bob:

1) I remember coming over to your house in Hopkins during the summer and seeing your dad with his shirt off...I thought it was so funny...his white body and his super duper dark left arm from driving his truck.

2) I remember about 25 years ago visiting your mom and dad at their home in Remer. Uncle Bob took me out sunfishing. People who saw us must...
