Robert Maben

I was saddened to learn of Bob's passing. He was one of my very favorite people to work with in the Wildlife Division. Bob always had an upbeat and humorous approach to work, no matter what issues arose. Arriving at the former Game Commission with an English degree, I learned about fish and wildlife management on the job. Bob was one of my go-to guys for help who made me feel like a valued member of the team.

My sincerest condolences to the family.

I began my own career working on Columbia River Research at the Columbia Regional Office in Clackamas where Bob was the Regional Director. He was a wonderful man and mentor who was helpful to me in my early years with ODFW. Bless You Bob! Chuck Willis
