Not sure what to say?

Big Mac will live in our hearts. There for he will live forever. It has been four years now.

Looking through my notes today, I came across messages from Bob during June 2003. He located the long forgotten grave of my Civil War ancestor, so in a very real sense he re-lighted his memorial candle and restored him to living memory.
God rest the soul of Robert MacAvoy. He lived and died but he passed the torch of memory, heritage and history.

One year has come and the memories our ever lasting. Rest in peace Mac.

i was stunned to read this today. Bob helped me find the gravesite of my good friend Gale Felver who was KIA in Vietnam and a High School classmate of his. R.I.P. my friend.. Condolences to his family.

I miss you so much daddy

So sorry for the lose of "Uncle Bobby" even though I haven't seen him in many years, still always in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in paradise, until we all meet again, fly high with grandpa and the entire family...gone far to soon :(

I am sorry to hear of the loss of my Uncle Bobby. While I haven't seen him in over 30 years, he has always had a special place in my heart. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Diane & family,
Words cannot express how sorry I was to hear of Bob's passing. Bob was my older cousin who always had a kind word & smile each time we met. I know he's in heaven having a great reunion with everyone.

Dear Diane and family,
I was sorry to learn of your loss. I knew Bob at Merck for many years and always enjoyed our conversations and his humor. May God be with you as you move forward.
