Not sure what to say?

We will miss Bob - the great jazz mixes he made for us, the smile he always had for everyone, his great energy, throwing the ball to Hannah in the front yard. He will be truly missed.

We will miss Bob - the great Jazz mixes he made for us, throwing the ball for our dog, he was always smiling! He was a great neighbor and friend to us. He will be missed

My deepest sympathy to Bob's family. He was a true gentleman with a vast curiosity and passion for life. I remember the many hours he and my Dad would spend listening to jazz in his basement, the stories he'd tell with that amazing laugh at the end! He had the greatest flash in his eye that simply can't be described! Bob was a great teacher. I first met him in 1970 when I went to work at P.B.Gast & Sons. I sold washing machines - he sold soap. We traveled together for several years. He knew every coffee shop - and every bathroom - on every road in Michigan. He introduced me to NPR, good scotch and the best music. He will be greatly missed. PBG

I am at a great loss for what I feel for the passing of Bob.
I've known him for more than 20 years as he made his nearly weekly stops at my record shops.
His great smile and wit and kindness will be surely missed.
I'll see you one last time this Saturday.
Great memories indeed!

We will miss our great neighbor, good friend and fine man. He added so much to our lives, enjoying music with my husband and children, and the perpetually witty Scottish sense of humor. The Parting Glass, to you, Bob! We know you are in a better place with your family now!

Here's to our great neighbor Bob. Whether it was talking to our boys, reaching over the fence to pet and say hello to Sadie or an invitation to listen to some records in his basement, Bob always had a smile, a kind word and an interesting story to tell. You will be missed.
