Its been years since I saw Robert, but he was a swashbuckler in his life, never afraid to where "none have gone before" and he will leave a big hole in the universe

I loved Uncle Robert, he was a hero of mine since I was a little kid. I always looked up to him and looked forward to our adventures.

He always supported and encouraged my rambling ways, and when he introduced me to Jim Allen when I was living in Lake Tahoe, it altered the course of my life and set me on my wine adventure and career.
