Not sure what to say?

I worked with Bob at the waste water plant at Point Loma. I was his welders helper on many occasions. Im sorry he's gone I will always remember him. Jeff

We believe that your Dad and Mother stood up for us when we got married in Watertown, NY, in 1958. For the last several years I have been looking for them and could not track them down. Today I was compelled to try again and it led me to his obituary. I am so sorry to hear about both of your parents. We had many good times and knew you two older children. They were good people and we are so sorry we lost track of them. Ron & Loretta Nixon [email protected]

Stan and I worked for the City of San Diego also and remember Bob fondly. If you worked for Utilities, you knew Bob and his smile. He's in our memories and photo albums for different city occasions and will never be forgotten.
Our heartfelt sympathy to his family.

I Miss Robert so much, my daughter has Lymphoma cancer and we talked a lot. He gave me wonderful advice. How to talk to my daughter about her disease and How I should deal with it myself!! I will miss and do miss Robert everyday!

Bob was a really great guy. We shared many good times in the early years of P.U.L. Will be missed a lot. Our thoughts
are with the family.

Lots of Love grandpa. You are very special and always will remain in my heart. It is because of you and grandma that I have come to know the Lord. Thank you for sharing your faith, your wonderful hugs, and countless peanut butter sandwiches.

The Ladies and Gentlemen of the Washington State Veterans Cemetery extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Robert E. Mackey, Sr. for your loss, to honor his service to our country and our patriotic hero.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Bob's family at this most difficult time. I've known Bob for those 30yrs he spent in the Wtr Dept. I retired in 92. He was a super human being, and a master of his trade. We worked several major pipeline jobs together and there wasn't a fitting or angle he couldn't fiqure out. He amazed many people with his talents. I feel honored to have been his friend, and to have known him. Rest in peace old friend!

I have so many great memories of Uncle Bob. The road trip to Washington state back in the late seventies, water skiing, picking parts from abandoned cars along the way. Always willing to help me with my hotrods. He will truly be missed.
