Not sure what to say?

absolutely wonderful and kind priest!!

Remembering Fr. Mac on his anniversary. Soon after my last post, my Mom passed away within days of her 97th birthday, and I was able to be there with her at the hospital. I recall driving home and thinking - "Mom, you're at peace and going to work in a new way - please pray for me and our loved ones." I know Mr. Mac is doing likewise. :). I call my relationship to him "student" because he taught me so much through his homilies and conversations.

Dear family and friends of Father Mac,
I just learned of Father Mac's passing, being homebound taking care of my Mother who is going on 97.
I recall meeting Father Mac in the early '90s while he was walking the grounds at St. Mary Our Mother in Horseheads, having my twins on the playground there, as well as at events and Masses. We just exchanged hellos, as I respected his time of solitude and enjoying the grounds, and his walk. Whenever our paths crossed, I sensed his great kindness...

Fr. Mac was tremendously kind to me and my mother as she was ill a few years ago and gave very good advice to me last spring. I live out of town but visit Corning, my hometown. I always looked forward to running into him. What a great priest.

God bless him and all his loved ones!

FR. MAC WAS THE ONE PRIEST THAT BROUGHT ME BACK INTO THE FOLD [AND THE CHURCH].SUSAN AND I STILL MISS HIM AFTER ALL THESE YEARS. HE WAS TRULY A PRIEST'S PRIEST.

JERRY AND SUSAN ORMAN, CLEVELAND TN.

Father MacNamara was a priest's priest. He was quiet, unassuming, and edifying without trying to be.

Rest in Peace, Father

Knowing Fr. Mac was a heavenly pleasure. He represented the Catholic faith in the best of ways. God bless him for that. I only got to know him when he came to St. Mary's. He remembered my name right away and always addressed me by name and nickname, Bernadette or Bunny. He certainly had a peaceful way about him.
I do agree that looking at him was like looking at the face of the Lord. May you rest in peace.
