Robert Michael MacVicar Robert Michael MacVicar, age 56, of Stafford, passed away October 25th, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born January 7th, 1955 in the Bronx, N.Y., he was the son of Louis and Helen McGowan MacVicar. He has spent the last 33 years with the love of his life, Nancy Schaefer MacVicar, who survives. Robert has been a member of AA for over ten years. He also attended St. Francis of the Assisi Catholic Church, worked at Woodbridge Glass and was a member of the Local Union #963. Survivors include his loving wife Nancy MacVicar of Stafford; his children, DawnMarie MacVicar and her fianc‚ James of Stafford; and Eric, Michael, and Amanda MacVicar all of Stafford; and three brothers, William MacVicar of Clifton; John MacVicar of Long Island; and Kenneth MacVicar also of Long Island. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 29th, 2011 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. A celebration of Robert's life will begin at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with private interment to follow at a later date. Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the charity of your choice.
