Not sure what to say?

So sad to hear of Robert's death. I never met him but I dealt with him in the 1980s and 1990s from distant Australia. I had phone conversations with him, in the middle of the night Australian-time. He was a great warrior against injustice. My thoughts to his family at this time.

Judi, Jessica, Holt and families,
My sincere condolences to you all! What great neighbors you have been to Dale, Jeff, Jennifer, Wanda and me. We have some great memories from Pond Road! It was so nice to see both of you this past summer when we had the celebration of Dales life, and he had such nice complimentary comments and memories of Dale!
Later in the summer, I can still see Bob sitting out on the patio, working of course, on his new project, what a genius!
Judi, I totally...

There are some friendships that are close and constant, never wavering with distance or the passing years. Karen and I regard our friendship with Bob and Judi as such a friendship.
It began in the late 1960s on rugby pitches in USA and Canada, ran through a canoeing adventure in the wilderness of Quebec's La Verendrye national park and continued despite the Atlantic being between us for many years. It is in such circumstances that people really get to know each other and in which...

Judi and family, Sheara and I wish to convey our deepest sympathy to you at this very difficult time. Bob will be missed by all who knew him and I will also miss our discussions about Bob's "New Marshall Plan".

Dear Judi and Family,

Bob was a loyal and hard working member of the VNA Board for many years
He was always willing to take on more responsibilities and had a true sense about the value of home care services.
I enjoyed talking with him and sharing opinions on the future of health care in our community.
Please accept my condolences.
Sincerely, Kay H Ryder

Dear Judi,

Remembering Bob and all he did for the VNA, and working on special events with you. Please accept my condolences. Susan Abell

Judi and family, we were so saddened to read about Bob's passing. Any conversation with him was to embark on a journey to discover a new train of ideas and thinking. He will be missed.
Our deepest condolences to you all.

Dear Judi, Jessica and Holt,
Lorna and I were stunned to learn of Bob's passing.
Bob was a fellow who accepted no limits, leaping from one seemingly impossible task to another. The greater taken, the greater his joy.
With sad affection,

My husband & I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Manchester years ago when we were a young couple and a local jeweler in Burlington tried to bait and switch us on our wedding rings !!! We were devastated and turned to Mr. Manchester for help. He was so amazing and got us our money back and then we went to another place to buy our rings. His kindness and compassion has stayed with us all these years !
Our prayers are with his family during this sad time.
