Dearest Melanie and Carol, I am very sad to learn of your tragic loss. He was loved, admired and cherished by all who knew him and you know how much he adored his family. May his memory be forever a blessing.

Hello,Argo family. I was Bert's supervisor at CASA. A true southern gentleman, for sure. I am from Kentucky and have a niece in Charlotte,NC. Bert was one of my best CASA volunteers about understanding and following the rules. I could tell he saw even small improvement for a teen as a next step for that child to find and live a productive life. I know you will miss him so much. I truly believe the CASA world was a better organization with Bert around. Prayers.

Dear Carol and Family,Praying for your peace and hoping you feel the love that surrounds you.Pearl Baker (Bay Club/Spectrum)

We are very saddened to hear of Bert's death. We knew Burt and his family through Couples Club. Burt will always be remembered for his constant smile, sense of humor, and his joy of life. Rest in peace.

Deeply saddened to hear of Bert's passing. He was a kind and gracious gentleman. Sincere sympathy to Carol and your family.

So shockingly sad to read of Bert's tragic passing. We lived in PV for many years and Bert and Carol were great fun in Couples Club. He was a true gentleman!

I only met Bert a couple of times when I was a child. He and my mother, Min Davenport, were first cousins. I do remember his parents were very proud of him. My thoughts and prayers go out to Carol, Melanie and Monie. What a difficult time this is.
