Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Maples & Family,
Just found out a couple of days ago about Puddin". I was a classmate of his at Bradley in Cleveland and we were good friends. I am so sorry for your loss and may God help you through these days.
Sincerely,
Jean Harmon Thompson

Dear Mrs. Maples, Robin, Patti and Jon,
I wanted to let you know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers.
It was an honor to know Coach Maples, he was a true gentleman who influenced so many people!
He will be missed, but not forgotten!
Your friend,
Scott Baynes

greatest brother inlaw i could ever have

It's good know that Coach Maples loved the Lord. I know I will see again one day. Former football player (class of '70).

Dear Betty and Family,
He made a huge difference for all who were privileged to be in his presence. From CNC (mid-50s) I recall a quiet, respectful presentation and a warm, welcoming smile for all. May you and yours be comforted by friends of like mind and personna. During these painful days/weeks, just know that prayer surrounds you --- thus God will provide your every need, now and always.

We are saddened by the passing of such a warm and sincere friend. I, Barbara, have known and admired "Puddin" since high school and Vernon was priviledged to know and play football with R.L. in college. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this very difficult time.

Betty, we are shocked and saddened by the death of R. L. A great man and a good friend with whom we had many good times and of whom we have nothing but great memories. May the Father care for you and your family. I'm glad we were able to see you and R. L. at the C-N reunion.

Dear Betty, Robin, Patti & Jon,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. He was a great teacher and good friend who endeared himself to many people during the eighteen years I taught at Edgewater. May fond memories comfort and sustain you. Rosalie and I send our condolences.

I am so sorry to learn of Coach Maples' death. The entire Edgewater High School community mourns his loss.
