Not sure what to say?

There weren´t many men who were his equals.

Bob had the right stuff. The world's a poorer place without him.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Bob's passing. I knew him well when we practiced law together at Hansell & Post and I will always treasure his many kind expressions of friendship and his wise counsel. Deepest sympathy to his family.

So long dear friend. I'll miss you.

Heartfelt sympathy to Holmes Marchman and family.

Marchman family I have only known Mr. Bob for a few years while serving as a member of the Board of Tax Assessors in Peach County. I have come to know him as a man among men and leader among leaders. He will be missed for sure. Very sincerely, Wayne Lettice

From those of us who have been privileged to share in Brother Marchman's guidance and inspiring fraternal behaviour for more than 40 years his absence will be sorely missed but the memories, both fraternal and legal, will still inspire. Corky and Susan (Phoenix, AZ)

My favorite quotation is from the great English playwright, Christopher Marlowe, who wrote, "Honor is purchased by the deeds we do." Bob Marchman's contributions to Sigma Nu, to the interfraternal world, to the legal profession, and to Atlanta civic affairs are legendary--and have secured his reputation as a true man of honor. We have lost a great man, a great friend, and a great Brother.

Robert Marchman...his name is consistent with leadership, dedication and a commitment to the fraternity community as well as to Sigma Nu. We are all much the better for his involvement...we have all lost a friend and an interfraternal brother today.
