Aloha Marciel family, I send my condolences to you all. Coach Bob was my linebacker coach at Punahou. He brought so much energy and enthusiasm to practice every day! He was always so positive and knowledgeable about football, especially Defense! I remember that coach always kept himself in great physical shape. He lead by example and taught me to always be humble in victory and gracious in defeat! I will miss him, but will try to pass on the qualities he taught me to my grandsons! Much Love...

Aloha Marciel Family, My condolences to you! Bob was our defensive coordinator at Punahou my senior year. I was a linebacker and team captain. We went from the worst season in the history of Punahou (1win, 8 losses) to (12wins, 2 losses) my senior year. We lost to Waianae in the state championship. I have a tremendous respect for Bob! He was disciplined and a great coach and taught me how to be more disciplined! I am thankful to have had him as my coach! Aloha! Dale Mosher
