Scoop and family
So sorry to learn of Bob's passing. We served together for many years on the Peoples Heritage Bank Board of Directors. Please know that we're thinking of you.

To Scoop and Family,
We are sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. We are the girls who stay at the Richardson's Cottage, next to Wilson Chapel, every August-September. We remember Bob passing by in his convertible with the music playing. And also walking passed your home at Ocean Point at sunset, and being shocked the first time we did... when Bob would set off his cannon shot! Scared the heck out of us!
Our thoughts and prayers with you and your family.
Regards,
Joan...

My deepest condolences to all the Mardens. What a great guy.

So sorry to hear the passing of Mr Marden.Prayers to the family.

My wife Barb, and myself, are saddend to learn of Bob's passing.

The entire Marden families' friendship with my own parents, Don and Anne Harris, goes back to August of 1969 when Dad first reported to Colby College as the department head of the Colby College Air Force ROTC that fall semester.

Over the years, Bob and his family law firm served my family well in the business arena of our family doughnut shop, and as representation for myself after a devastating accident...

Bob was a formative force as a Colby Trustee. Wise, reserved, dedicated.
A good listener and a valued contributor over so many years.
A powerful asset for his Colby.

The greatest generation, the best music, and a caring and giving person. I shall forever remember the cannon at sundown when I sit on the rocks at Ocean Point and view the best sunsets. My condolences to the Marden family and may you forever hold your memories close. Rest in peace Bob, and I hope you are playing that jazz and big band music.

My sincere condolences to all of the Marden family for your loss!

Our hearts go out to the entire Marden Family on your loss. I always looked up to and admired Mr. Marden
