I ended up following his good advice and (after a divorce) went on to get several degrees and a job doing research for NASA and at UC Berkeley. His kind words made a difference in my life and I have never forgotten him.

Dr Maresca performed a stapedectomy on my mom ears in about 1960. He helped her so much with her hearing loss by doing this operation! He was always so grateful to him and loved him for it!
