Robert James Marks, 21, died unexpectedly January 12, 2021 at a San Jose Hospital due to complications resulting from a tragic incident. He was born on February 24, 1999 in San Jose, CA, the beloved son of James Marks and Stacie Hardin Valdez of Gilroy, CA.
Robert graduated from Christopher High School, class of 2017 and was loved by many of his classmates. He enjoyed playing Football and Lacrosse all 4 years with his number being 56. He loved his job at CalTrain San Jose, where he had been employed since 2018. His hobbies were going to the beach, fishing, working on his truck, bike riding, photography, and most of all, making others laugh.
He is also survived by his twin sister Lindsay Marks, older brother Joshua Valdez, grandparents Robert and Joyce Marks, grandfather Billie Joe Hardin, loved dearly by his girlfriend Kaylani Rivera, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition, he was predeceased by his Granny, Carol Lynn Adams and step-grandmother, Carol Lee Hardin.
There will be no services due to the pandemic, but a celebration of life will take place in Spring.
