Not sure what to say?

Dear Dad,
I miss you so much, now I have nobody to help answer questions when I have a problem with electric, plumbing. I have nobody to sit around and shoot the breeze with. You sure have taught me alot in your lifetime and they are the things I will never forget. I surely do miss you. I love you pop and I do miss you very much.

Your son
Bob

Bett,
I am so sorry. I just found out about Uncle Bob. Bobby wrote of his sickness and I have been trying to get in touch with you. I would have come back if I had known sooner.
My thoughts of Uncle Bob fill me with laughter and happiness. From the roller skating to his infinite patience in allowing me to share some summers with you all. I am fortunate to have a dozen or so Aunts and Uncles. None can even come close to Uncle Bob. A hundred, no thousands of happy memories fill my heart...

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Pappy,
you have left a legacy of love
to generations that follow,
you have left gentle footprints on
our hearts, and a story worth telling,
you leave us with happy memories, and have given us the gift of timeless moments worth holding in our hearts forever.
You will be missed so much,
we love you,
Angie, Joe & family
