Not sure what to say?

We were so sorry to recently learn about Robert´s passing. He was a good man, husband, father and friend. My mother valued his friendship and enjoyed his sense of humor. We pray the you find comfort through family and joy through the wonderful memories you shared together. Love, Beverlee and Burgin Beale, Pinehurst NC.

Prayers for family and friends

I went to Danville last night to go to the service today. Unfortunately I woke up feeling sick so I just drove back home. Even though I couldn't be there, I wanted to say that I am very sorry for your loss and that Doctor Marsh meant the world to me. -Bocephus

During this difficult time I pray that you will find peace in the love of family and strength in the care of friends. God bless.

My heartfelt condolences to the Marsh family and all friends! The creative world has a hole that cannot be filled because Mr. Marsh´s personality and art was so unique! He it the only art professor that made me draw with a tobacco stick and a taped pencil on the end so I would "loosen up" my detailed ways! See you later in Heaven. I´ll probably still have that stick in hand.

I am just devastated at the news of his passing. I had the great fortune to see him at Averett in May. I surprised him in the art building where we had many hours together. Where he tried to teach me lessons about art and life. It was wonderful catching up and rehashing the old days. He remains an important influence in my life. I will cherish every memory I have with Robert, aka, (Big Bucks). Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Chuck Waddell

I took an art class at Averett to learn the technique of Robert's style of drawing. When I ask him about teaching me his style he said I can teach you about colored pencils but you have to develop your own style.. He was a great teacher and friend. Condolences to his family. Robert was one of a kind and an esteemed artist. He will be missed.

Sorry for your loss. Will pray for family.I liked Robert. May God be with you All! Lucas'Dad.That was what he always addressed me.Jerry and PamBrackett
