Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Martin family. Fond memories of working for him for many years at Oncology Associates. Our yearly Christmas parties with him singing Carol of the Bells. His trip back from Nepal with his full beard, handsome and charming as ever. God bless!

I started on CCU6 Oncology in 1986 and after leaving HH, came back in 2002 to the Palliative Cate Floor. Dr Martin was a constant, calm, kind presence that comforted patients and staff alike. I feel so honored to have known and worked with him. Blessings to his family.

Dr Martin was beloved by all who knew him. As a new nurse Dr Martin inspired me to dream big. He was a true pioneer ...hospice, palliative medicine, pet therapy all are part of the proud legacy he leaves behind. His love of high quality oncology and palliative care lives on in those of us at the HHC Cancer Institute. Rest in peace ...I am so grateful to have had you as a colleague and friend

When I was a senior resident Dr. Reinfrank asked me to take a month long elective in oncology and show the "new guy the ropes". The month turned into a year and changed the trajectory of my career and my life. Thanks Bob.

Sincere condolences to Sarah and the entire family. Bob was a person and physician who was a change agent and made impactful change in many areas. I recall meeting him in the hospital lobby to discuss his new idea of " pet therapy". I quietly listened but was thinking " infections ! ". His idea turned into one of our most valued hospital volunteer programs ! He will be missed. John Meehan , retired CEO of Hartford Hospital

My condolences to Dr Martin´s family. The Palliative Care Unit he created at Hartford Hospital was so imaginative and beautiful and reflected his philosophy for the care of dying patients. His rounds with his dog were a treat!

I worked on the first hospice unit at Hartford Hospital and he was such a supporting caring physician to work with. One of a kind

I didn´t know Dr. Martin well, but I remember he and his dog making rounds and cheering us all up on the weekends! Then, when I received distinguished service award, he went out of his way to find me and congratulate me. He was wonderful, thoughtful man. My condolences to you all.
