Not sure what to say?

Years together behind the stick at the Osprey, brotherhood In Sigma Beta Tau at Kean, trip to Spain where the locals called him el grande, Friday night basketball in the little gym at Kean where I learned the real concept of immovable object, nights at Malones, too many great memories to list. A legend, a friend, a man´s man who will be greatly missed. My condolences to Dee & Brooke. JJDowling

Condolences to Dee, Brooke, and the family. Had many great times with Maz in the 70's. Worked together at The Osprey; helped organize the Polish Polankas (later the Buffalo Hunt). RIP Maz.

Sympathy and condolences to the family, extended and individually - especially those grandkids with whom he seemed eager- no, hellbent, to walk and jog with on the beach and boardwalk. For them, I feel the greatest sorrow. I am one of Bob's neighbors in Long Branch - a latecomer to his world - mostly chats in the lobby about JCSC in the '60's. Quite a history, quite a story, and quite a guy. I wish I had had more time to know him. Ave, Atque, Vale. Doug Martin

My deepest condolences to Dee, Brooke and family. Bob played an important role in my development as a young man. We connected at Kean college when I was an only child from Brooklyn going away from home for the first time to college in New Jersey. He was a mentor to me. He made me a Resident Assistant at Kean, we attended too many sporting events to count, we went to Buffalo Hunts on the shore and he always looked out for me. He was a good friend and I will truly miss him. R.I.P. Maz.

My condolences to you all. Although I hadn´t seen Bob in ages,he always held a special place in my memories at JCSC,obviously the memories of youth when we were all gods and godesses, untouchable by things like mere mortality. Having played ball with Bob and against Bob in Practices ,he always made you feel his strength and maybe a "touch of pain" . This was with teammates where he apparently was a bit more considerate. One day .......the years bring a little fog ,I´m watching from the...

Sincere condolences to the family. I knew Maz from my days at JCSC. We were same year, same major. Lost contact but got reconnected a while ago. Had lunch with Maz a couple of months ago at Harrigan's with Tom Briscoe, Jack Thompson and boy, stories and remembrances of those college days, our athletic experiences and so forth. Also found out we were both Vietnam Vets. I saw Maz many times at the VN Vets Memorial in Holmdel, in fact just a couple of weeks ago at the Veteran's Day ceremony....

"Maz"...you're the guy that gave me this nickname at our Freshman orientation at Jersey City State...and you were good friend all of our years (but, boy, did you get us into some fixes)..sorry I missed you at Lunch last month...condolences from me and the Brothers of Lambda Sigma Rho to Dolores and the family...may "Maz" and the souls of all the Faithful Departed through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace....

i will always remember bob and his great booming voice.my deepest sympathy to the family. RIP my friend.
