Robert Mark ?Rob? Massman, age 21, son of Theresa (Herbert) Hanson (nee Wagman) of Crystal Lake, IL and Mark (Terri) Massman of Orland Park, IL passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 7, 2015 in Milwaukee, WI.
Born March 31, 1993 in New Braunfels, TX, Rob moved to Crystal Lake at the age of four and graduated from Crystal Lake Central in 2011. He was a member of the Red-Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. He was an avid skateboarder, artist, and musician. Rob will be remembered for his humor and the joy he brought to his family and friends.
Rob is survived by his parents; his sisters, Janet (Sabir) Zengalini and Kimberly Massman; step brothers, Brendon and Matthew Gember; step sister Karen (Victor) Salgado; maternal grandmother Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Wagman; uncles, Ken (Tracy) Wagman, David Wagman, Bryan (Wendy) Wagman, Don (Donna) Wagman, Robert (Sarah Lee) Wagman, and David (Lisa) Massman; aunts, Elise (Mark) Wood, Bonnie (Edward) McAllen, Linda Gregerson, Carol Wagman, and Susan Massman; many great aunts and uncles; cousins; his girlfriend Die Hu; and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James M. Wagman and paternal grandparents Gustav and Eleanor Massman and Uncle Gregory Massman.
Visitation will be Friday, March 13, from 3-9:00 p.m. with a service beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 East Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL .
