Robert W. "Bob" Matty

Helga, Elaine, and family. My deepest sympathy to all of you. I was out of town and was sad to hear of Bob’s passing. I always looked forward to our various conversations about many things especially Steeler football after Saturday night church. Being from Southwestern PA, I was glad to get to know Bob as well as Helga over the past several years.

He had it tough over the last several months and now is at peace.

I am sorry for the loss that your family must truly feel right now. We all want to see a time when we will be a united family though out the world. God's word the Bible assures us at Matthew 6:9,10 that God's kingdom will bring lasting peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Matty family in this time of sorrow. Bob will be greatly missed by those of us in the Berlin U.S. Military Veterans Association. He was a friend to many and a vital member of our organization.
