Not sure what to say?

Today as I roamed the DFW National Cemetery headed to visit our dear friend "Schaf" / Bob Schaefer, something drew my eyes to a name ..... Robert C Maxfield ..... as I scanned the dates, I knew it had to be you. Yes "Max", you are "forever in our hearts". Skal my friend! I hope you enjoyed the holy water spray. Schaf knows I'll be back - now you do too.

To the Maxfield family:

My thoughts and prayers are with you during these difficult times.

I cannot express the sense of loss I feel in the passing of Bob. It was such an honor and privilege to know Bob and have the opportunity to bowl Nationals with him the last couple of years. Such a wonderful guy with a great sense of humor, and one who didn't hesitate to keep me in my place, one thing I will surely miss.

To the Maxfield Family:

My family wishes to offer our sincere condolences on your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.

The John Cothran Family

To the Maxfield Family,

Bob will be truly missed by you and all the rest of us "his bowling family". He really treated us like family...every time that we saw him. Usually with a smile on his face and a cup of coffee in his hand.

May you all ways remember that wonderful smile and outgoing personality, I know I will.

Dear Betty,
Wow....Subie and I just got back in town from D.C. today and heard the news from Debbie. We will always remember our fun Skal Dinners...the laughing...giggling...Max's great humor...the golfing yes, and bowling! We shall miss our friend dearly. Our prayers of strength are with you Betty and the children.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. Bob was a great gentleman and we'll always remember his infectious smile, and his great personality. The bowling world has definately lost one of the 'good guys'.

May fond reflections comfort you, and memories keep him near.

To the Maxfield family,

We are sorry to hear about the loss of Bob and our deepest sympathy are with you at this time. We are sure going to miss him. Our prayers are with you and God Bless and watch over you
