I too grew up in the Old Herig school neighborhood some 50 years ago and was blessed to enjoy several great neighbors . The Maxwell's were dear neighbors and I so enjoyed many evening dinners with them as well as many family rides . And so so much fun in their yard and home .

Sometime around 50 years ago I was a young driver and lived about a block away from Mr. Maxwell and his family. I had this car that had rack-and-pinon steering and could turn on a dime. I used to come around the corner of S. Charles and Hancock and bring it up on two wheels and finish my turn.
