Not sure what to say?

First time I met Bob was in his store on the Detroit side of 8 mile. "looking for anything good.. try those boxes over there..." you couldn't see him but his voice came from the far corner, out of sight. Spent a lot time there, searching for records. After he got to know you better, he'd find a record he liked, say listen to this and set the needle down on the record. That old turntable sure had seen a lot records. I will always miss him he was a beautiful man. God bless him and the family everyone has my deepest condolences.

My Uncle Bob was a very special man, intelligent, artistic and a straight shooter. Even though you sit at Gods side now, every time I here some Hank, Twitty or Jones I'll know its you just trying to put a smile on my face and a twitch in my foot... rest in peace Uncle Bob.

My deepest sympathies to his family. I worked for Bob many years ago at Mays Record and Talking Machine. Some very fond memories, and a lot of learning about old records. RIH.

Mays had one of the best record stores on Eight Mile. Greatest stash of Golden World 45's. I was just thinking of him and the store recently. RIP.
