Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Mr. Mazur's passing in the most recent issue of BGSU Magazine delivered in the mail the other day. I was in a few of Mr. Mazur's art classes at Bowling Green where I earned a B.S. in Education with an Art minor, graduating in 1970.

He was an amazing man, a wonderful artist and an inspiration. He will be missed.

Our Love to Lynne & the entire Mazur family!

I remember Bob so vividly from my childhood. Then again, as a wide-eyed college Freshman, encountering him in the hallway in the fine arts building. He brought me into his office and we just talked. I'll never forget how comfortable and special he made me feel that day.

Bob Mazur. Truly an original. We will forever hold his memory in our hearts.

Remember him wearing a suit and having a smile always in painting class at bgsu. Peace to him and his family.

Farewell, Bob! An unforgettable pillar of the School of Art, a friend, a great gentleman. Rest in Peace.

Bob helped me so much to navigate the years in graduate school. He was witty, wise, generous, gifted, and kind. He was certainly one of those rare larger-than-life figures who comes along once in a great while, and I will always feel so fortunate to have known him.

One of the truly good guys--and a wonderful friend.
