I am so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was such a great neighbor! Growing up right next door on Devon in Lisle, I spent many mornings, afternoons and evenings at Peter & Rob's house from playing Pac-Man and board games, to baking in the kitchen and sledding in the backyard, I have many cherished memories. Bob & Ellen were always there to welcome me into their home and I've missed those carefree days of childhood so much through the years. Thinking of you all during this really sad...

We are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We were fortunate to have Bob and Ellen as neighbors on Devon Ave in Lisle for 13 years. They were both good friends and good neighbors. They had dogs and so did we. Bob would walk around the block everyday with Daisy and frequently we would visit as he was passing our house. Sorry to hear that Bob passed away...He was a great guy with a dry wit and a ready joke. He and his wife, Ellen, stood up to our wedding, and we became close friends for many years until Ellen passed away...
