It was always a pleasure see Bob at Oaks Hardware or Starbucks and visit about our early years at KXTV and the staff we worked with. Condolences to Bob's family.

When Bob was created, the "mold was truly broken." His interest in people and facts was thoroughly genuine because he was truly curious and thrilled to learn from others and their experiences. And I loved to hear his stories and how they connected with more people and their stories. I am so glad our political communications paths crossed in Sacramento. A gentleman to everyone and a good friend to many, he will be missed.

We will truly miss Bob. He was such a strong part of our family. He always came for all family functions, never forgot a birthday, anniversary or any special occasion. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dee and the rest of the family. May God bless and comfort all of you during this sorrowful time.

He was genuinely curious and focused on you, which is what I believe brought him so much success and adventure in his life. A lot of people work on learning how to do that, some fake it and Bob was the real deal.
He made me...
