Robert Lee McCall

Sorry to hear of the death of Dr. McCall. Enjoyed his friendship during my AC school years 1958-1962 as well as my almost 50 years on the alumni Board, 3 terms as President. My wife Billie Bass also served on the Alumni Board for 25 years with one year as President the last year the College was Athens College (private) before becoming Athens State College.

I just learned of his passing today. I met him in Italy and continued to see him through the 88th Infantry Division Association. He was president for years and contributed much to the association. He was a great man and very friendly with a wonderful family. May he rest in peace and happiness.

We are so sorry for your loss. The local Chapter of the MOAA has many fond memories of Bob.
