Not sure what to say?

I have been thinking of my Uncle Bob, every day since his funeral last week. It was a day of reflection and so many wonderful memories of him. I know he was watching from above and was so proud of his two sons. Bob and Steve, reflected all that my Uncle was while on this earth. A genuine, kind and caring soul. I never thanked my Uncle for all he did for my dad. ( His big brother ). Never once, did my Uncle ask for a thank you or pay back for all the times he helped my father. He just...

Uncle Bob,
Thank You for always being so good to me, I'll always remember you as not only my uncle , but, the pride I held , with you being upstairs in the drafting area at Chicopee High ,My very handsome and intelligent Uncle. I think you had a great impact on Glenn's incredible achievements as an engineer.
I can't hear a Barry Manilow song without thinking of you , his songs were like your misdemeanor , and your constant smile.
You will always be in my heart.
I love you,...

To Bob's family, my deepest sympathies. He was my drafting teacher for several classes over a three year period and certainly helped point me in the direction of my pursuit of an Engineering degree. He was a real professional and I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Bob was nicknamed "Papa Bear" by me as his waitress at Friendly's. He really was a great guy!

Thoughts and prayers to the family left behind. To me he will always be "Papa Bear" which I lovingly named him after being his waitress for many years at friendly's.

I had the pleasure of having Mr. McCarthy for drafting class at Chicopee High School. His teachings help me immensely during my work as an accident investigator. Ronald Reagan once said, "Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in this world. But, Marines don't have that problem." This statement fits Mr. McCarthy perfectly as a Marine and an educator. He made a difference in many lives. I guess God needed you to draw up some blueprints and redesign those...

To Steve and his entire family. Our hearts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Know that we care and have known and loved your Dad for years. His tough act was a cover for his great and gentle heart. He will be missed and he made his mark in life. What a very nice tribute to your Dad. I am sure he was proud of you!
