I have so many good, funny, and some ridiculous memories of Bob. The one that comes to mind is when, as a new sister-in-law when his brother & I came up from D.C. & lived with Bob & his Mom. One day I thought I'd be nice & clean up. Well, I emptied the overflowing ashtray in the bedroom & washed it.

I think all of us will remember Uncle Bob as being a particular sort of 'cool'. Just the way Uncles are supposed to be when you're a kid.

The kind of guy who seems to take the idea of what your father is but without the restraints of always wanting to set a good example. A little bit of a 'bad
guy or tough guy' image perhaps, but still responsible towards all of us and never boring.
