Not sure what to say?

I became an associate of Bob's in 1970 following my graduation from law school, later becoming his partner. During my years with Bob, he was always professional, highly skilled, and caring. The other side of Bob was his wonderful wit and dry sense of humor. You wanted to listen closely to every word so not to miss something very funny.

Farewell to a nice man with a wonderful wit.

Family- I have a picture of Bob- by with neighbors Barbara and Phyllis Mitchell, Elenor is with us. Love, Thoughts and prayers with (Bobby) and Eleanor and the family . Will be in touch soon WE HAVE SO MANY HAPPY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES! SO SORRY WE MISSED YOU AND SEND LOTS OF LOVE, The Mitchell girls.

I lived in Mt. Vernon from '42-'67 and remember when his firm was at SW corner of N Gay & E High .

To me he was always a gentleman .

I also recall his father Judge McDevitt.

Bob's family and friends have my empathy for their loss .

Farewell to an old friend from Mt. Vernon and Sarasota. Wonderful person and great wit. You will be missed by many. We are so glad you were able to spend the last years of your life with Connie. Didn't know her will but knew when we met her you had found the one.

Good bye old friend.

I knew Bob when he was McDevitt, Mayhew and now, Malek. I worked at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court for years, starting in 1968. At that time Charlie Ayers was not the Knox County CP Judge. When Bob came over to our office it was always enjoyable, he was just a "nice guy" that was witty and fun to visit with. Have not seen him in years, but as you can see, I have not forgotten him. It was a privlege to have known him. Sympathies to the family.

I am sorry for your loss. Mr McDevitt and his wife helped me find employment on an estate on Siesta Key when she was with Mount Vernon Realty around the winter of 1987 or 1988. I graduated with Jim in 1978 from Mount Vernon High School
