Robert "Bob" James McDonald was born November 9, 1936 in the Clear Creek Community "Valliant", Oklahoma the son of Mitchell McDonald and Melvina (Briley) McDonald. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. He worked for Weyerhaeuser as a forklift driver for many many years and made a great number of friends while working there. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Rose Etta (Jones) "Queen" McDonald and his son, Steve McDonald. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jo Platt and five brothers, Curtis, Independence, O.D., J. D., and W. D. McDonald. Survivors include: his son Scottie McDonald of Valliant, OK, a daughter, Tonya (McDonald) Gordon & husband David of Millerton, OK; two sisters: Ruthel McDonald Hankins of Idabel, OK and JoAnna McElroy of Coolidge, AZ; nine grandchildren: Share'McDonald, Scotty McDonald, II, Erica McDonald, Pierre McDonald, Bryttani Gordon, Mariah Gordon, Aiesha McDonald, Steve McDonald, II and Nicola McDonald; ten great grandchildren: Karma, Karisma and Paris McDonald, Karsyn Bussey, Kadyn Hildreth, Casey and Carter Allen, Bryson Hill, Braydence Baker and Stevie McDonald along with a host of other family and friends.

Mr.McDonald was a kind gentleman. Always a smile when you met him. He left behind a legacy that will carry on his on his memory and name forever.
