My big brother Bob was wonderful to me growing up. He did all the "dad" things for me, like teaching me to drive, to play golf and taking me places. He turned away those boys he disapproved of, but mostly he knew "they'd wear off." In one particularly painful break-up of mine, he told me it would be ok, "You win, some you lose some, and some get rained out." Whatever that meant, it made me feel better. He knew (and teased) all of my friends and teased me relentlessly. That's how he loved me...
