I met Bob in the late 1970s working in claims. He treated me like a seasoned veteran, enjoyed his wit and knowledge. Always a gentleman, my fondest memories were the many trips around Manhattan Island in his beautiful boat. Bob would tell us the names of the buildings just by their outline.
