Not sure what to say?

He did my back surgery in 2002 and I owe him my life what he did for meGod bless this humble man

"Dr. Bob" was an ever present member of the Verismo Opera ensemble and I have many fond memories of him singing with us. I am sorry to read of his passing but hope that he and another Verismo favorite bass Roger Smith are enjoying singing with the choirs in Heaven!

Doctor Robert Mcivor is the most humble man in his profession... not only did he save my life in the back surgery he did for me but did it perfect so I never needed to use narcotics again.. pain free... he is what the workman´s comp attorneys told me Number 1 man on the "A" list for getting people back to work and living a normal lifeI am very sad of this great man´s passingR.I.P. Dr.Mcivor.... You´ll will never be replaced

Dr, McIvor's dad was our family doctor. He delivered all four of us! Thereafter he acted as our pediatrician. I saw his dad into my early 20's. I met Dr. McIvor, the orthopedist, when I broke both my arms at the same time. His dad had set him up with an office adjacent to his on Pill Hill in Oakland. Was sorry to read this! I spent summers wit Wendy at the ranch in Fishlake Valley. He was an awesome man.

Dr. McIvor was a very special man in my life.
I worked for him from 1978-2005. I first worked with him and his brother in Walnut Creek and then I ran his Lafayette office.
He was so much more than a boss to me, he was a friend, a mentor and confidant.
I have so many memories....too many to mention....
I remember to never put anything on his desk that any misspelled words , he would read a report and anything misspelled would jump off the page to him!
I remember his 4...

Dr. McIvor was my mother's orthopedist for many many years and made such a difference in her life. Not only did he provide excellent medical care, he shared a caring but no nonsense bedside manner which made her RA condition so much more bearable. They made each other laugh and he could always perk up her spirits even in the darkest times. I met with him frequently at her appointments and their repartee was so much fun.
What a wonderful man. He will be missed.
