Not sure what to say?

I am Stephen Snow, son of Charlene Scowcroft Snow. These names will not be familiar to family members who read this but would be instantly familiar to Robert McKay. I escorted my mother into the shop on Main Street countless times over the several decades. She, an Ogden Scowcroft, and I had many wonderful chats with Bob when there was a quiet moment or two. We tak=lked of his parents, Ogden, Huntsville, the big house on South Temple and more. I remember Bob's mention of his dad's concerns...

Dave and Marianne,
I'm sorry I received the news of your dads passing too late to make it to the funeral. I would have loved to have been there to give both of you a hug. Lot of fun memories, feed the horses and going to horse shows in Murray, playing baseball, playing ping pong all day then having your dad come home and show us who the best player really was. I live in St. George, when you're in the area call me, I would love to see you.
Love, Carl Lambert

Dear Fran and Family,

Oh how I loved serving with your husband and father in the Wilford Stake Presidency. He was so dedicated and personable in all that he did. He was a great example for me as priesthood man. I loved his smile, warmth, and capacity to inspire. Lots of love to all of you. Thanks for sharing him with us.

I'm writing on behalf of Arch Egbert, my husband, and my children. Arch died about 3 1/2 years ago, but over many years Arch was home teacher and Bishop to the McKay family, he performed a marriage ceremony in their home for one of their daughters and we have always considered the McKays as our friends and neighbors. I remember Arch repeatedly asking Bob to not ever cut his beautiful hair too short, as it reminded him of Pres. McKays hair. Thanks for all you have contributed to our lives. ...

Dear McKay family, May the Lord bless you at this time of grief. We all will miss this great man. I have known Bob most of my life as I grew up around the corner of where his father and prophet lived on South Temple and P street for many years as our family moved in 1939 to the home on 1st Ave between Q & R Street and where I live now. My husband bought my engagement and wedding rings from him in 1959. When I did history of 27th Ward he helped me correct the history of their house on P...
